The Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano (YUMSUK) will conduct post-UTME screening for candidates seeking admission into the institution in August.
Muhammad Sani Aminu, the university registrar stated that UTME candidates will be screened at the City Campus, Kofar Nassarawa on August 19.
KANO TODAY reports that UTME candidates will write an aptitude test in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge during the screening.
The registrar stated that Direct Entry (DE) candidates will be screened at the Main Campus along Kabuga – Kofar Ruwa on August 21.
Mr Aminu therefore called on qualified candidates to register for the post-UTME screening on www.nwu.edu.ng between July 19 and August 7, 2019.
He however stated that only candidates who chose YUMSUK as their first choice and scored a minimum of 160 in the 2019 JAMB/UTME are eligible for the screening.
He added that DE candidates with National Diploma must have a minimum of 3.00 CGPA for Science based programs and 3.50 CGPA for Arts programs.
DE candidates with National Certificate of Education (NCE) must have a minimum of nine points for relevant programs in the Faculty of Education, according to the statement.
Also DE candidates with IJMB must have a minimum of seven points for Science and eight points for Arts based programs.
