We need infrastructural development: Kiru communities cry out

Dan Soshiya and Gabari communities  in Kiru local government of  Kano state have called on the government  to address the  lack of infrastructure in their areas.

The communities say they are facing  serious challenges in the educational and health sectors.

The village head of Dan Soshiya, Haruna Magaji said the community lacks a senior  secondary school.

Haruna Magaji said the community has established a junior secondary school which has only four teachers.

He therefore calls on the government to equip the existing school with more teachers and instructional materials pending the establishment of a senior secondary school.

On his part the village head of Gabari, Ali Garba  said the  main problem facing the community is lack of a befitting health centre.

Ali Garba said the villagers are forced to patronize Makarfi Hospital in neighboring Kaduna state as the village clinic lacks basic facilities while the road leading to it is in bad condition.

The communities called on government to urgently come to their aid by addressing  the problems facing the two communities .
