Late Hamza Abdullahi, Kano state governor during the Buhari military administration has been buried on Friday at Tarauni Cemetery Kano.
Chief Imam of Hadejia Emirate, Yusuf Abdurrahman led the funeral prayer at Kofar Kudu, Kano emir’s palace by 10:02p.m.
Kano State governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his deputy Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, emirs of Kano and Hadejia, Muhammadu Sunusi II Adamu Abubakar Maje Haruna were also in attendance.
KANO TODAY reports that the corpse of the former governor arrived Kano from Germany around 8:30pm and was prepared for burial at his family house in Hotoro Kwanar Maggi area of the metropolis.
The deceased was survived by his mother, Ramatu Abdullahi (Hajja Maikoko) and three wives with seventeen children comprising of eight sons and nine daughters.
