KUST Wudil commissions N34m hospital equipment

The Kano State University of Science and Technology (KUST) Wudil has acquired hospital equipment worth N34 million.

KANO TODAY reports that the Vice Chancellor Shehu Alhaji Musa commissioned the equipment on Monday at the university clinic.

Mr Musa, a professor of Agricultural Economics added that the university has earmarked N1 million for the purchase of anti-malarial drugs.

He therefore urged the university students to register with the clinic for their own benefit.

Some of the facilities provided include 18 beds, an  Auto Analyzer Machine, for chemical analysis and Hematology Auto Analyzer for analyzing blood components.

Other facilities include Multi Parameter Patient Monitor for assessing blood pressure, body pulse, cardiac activities and oxygen saturation.

Meanwhile the Students Representative Council of the University has contributed some medical facilities to the school clinic.

The items include drugs, intravenous drips, and clocks.
