Kano State Censorship Board says it is set to screen filmmakers in order to sanitize the activities of Kannywood.

Director General of the Board, Isma’ila Na Abba Afakallah said this on Monday while assuming office for the second term.

Mr Afakallah said the screening will focus more on actors, singers, and musicians.

The Board will also ban unregistered practitioners as provided by law, he added.
