Hoodlums have injured six people in a raid on a newly commissioned office of Kano Vigilante Group at Dandago, Kano city.
Mr Lawan Sani Dandago, vigilante commander of the area told reporters that the hoodlums attacked in the middle of the night carrying weapons and gallons of petrol.
“The hoodlums attacked passers-by and snatched their mobile phones before breaking into the office”, said Mr Dandago.
“They vandalized some equipment and sprayed petrol in the office before they were repelled by the vigilante officers”, he said.
“They wounded three vigilante officers and three other people while we succeeded in arresting one of them”, he added.
