The Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) has started issuing drivers’ license to Adaidaita Sahu operators in Kano.
Kano Sector Commandant of the FRSC, Zubairu Mato told reporters that the license is to help in identifying the drivers.
KANO TODAY reports that the Adaidaita Sahu drivers’ license costs three thousand three hundred and fifty naira (N3,350) only.
Reacting, chairman Tricycle Operators Association of Kano, Sani Sai’du Dankoli welcomed the development and urged all members to abide by the regulation.
Mr Dankoli adds that the license will help identify genuine operators from the criminals disguising as tricycle drivers.
KANO TODAY recalls that the Managing Director of Kano state Road Traffic Authority, Bappa Babba Dan Agundi has warned Adaidaitu Sahu operators that the government may ban their operations.
