The emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II has urged the state government to create centers that will teach innovation and small-scale business in Hausa language.
Muhammadu Sanusi gave the advice at the graduation ceremony for business skills trainees of Community Education Resource Center held in Kano.
Sanusi II said teaching in Hausa language will allow trainees to learn better as many people in Kano are talented but lack fluency in English language.
He therefore advocated for the translation of some books into Hausa to facilitate the learning of science and technology as well as other important subjects.
On her part director of the center, Aisha Inuwa Hussain says the institution is established to equip students with the necessary skills to further their education.
